How to check a shipping label PDF
Start with a small readable batch and compare the extracted details with original labels.
Choose a suitable PDF
The current parser is designed for text PDFs with one label per page. Try selecting a customer name in your PDF viewer. If the page is only an image, OCR is needed and is not included here. Multiple labels per page or a different address-block layout can produce unsuitable results.
Your first review
- Open the tool and log in if needed. Save the private recovery code when creating an account.
- Use “Choose your shipping labels PDF”. Wait for extraction to finish. Selecting the file is browser-local processing, not a server upload.
- Compare the total label count and unread-page notice against your original page count.
- In “All labels”, compare several names, delivery addresses and PINs with original pages. Check that a seller’s return address was not mistaken for the delivery address.
- Inspect name, address, PIN and Order ID tabs. “Repeated details only” can narrow your review.
- Choose a review report and download it. Reports cover the whole batch, independently of screen filters.
A small example
Suppose a 12-page batch contains three repeated-name groups. That does not mean three fake orders. Open each group, compare original pages, addresses and Order IDs. An unread page may be missing from extracted detail counts; review it in the original PDF.
If a detail is wrong
Use Edit to correct extracted metadata where appropriate. This changes grouping and reporting, not text printed on the original label. If many rows are incorrect, stop removing pages and report the problem with private details hidden.
